Thank you for your support of Wine in the Valley.

The second annual Wine in the Valley gala and auction was a huge success.

The evening was all about technology and the money we raised — and will continue to raise — will go a long way as we assess how best to meet the technology needs of the school.

At Valley, we must rely on the support and generosity of local business owners who want to make a difference in their community, corporate leaders who want to add value to their philanthropic endeavors and private donors who believe in the mission of educating children.

This year the number of attendees grew from 181 to 210. In these difficult economic times we didn’t know what to expect, but the outpouring of generosity was overwhelming. It was a sign to our teachers, staff and administrators that the community appreciates their noble endeavors. It was a sign to our children that the community cares.

Thank you to those of you who attended the event. Thank you to those of you who bid on silent auction items or raised your number to purchase live auction items and thank you to everyone who stood up for Valley during our technology drive.

For those who were unable to attend the event, it’s not too late. If you would like to stand up for Valley, click on the donation button on this page. You can make a direct contribution of any amount via PayPal. Any amount — even $10 — brings us closer to our goal. You can make a difference to more than 700 students and their families. You can change lives.

We hope you will keep an eye on Valley Elementary School. We hope you will continue to partner with us as we learn and grow. We hope you recognize that our successes are your successes. We hope you know how much we appreciate everything you’ve done and everything you continue to do.
