Our goal is to provide supplemental resources needed to respond to the evolving learning needs of our students. We want to make sure every child at Valley has the tools to succeed. If every family gave $75 per student, we would meet our annual funding goal. In these times, every dollar counts. If you can give more, please do. Our mission

The Valley Elementary Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit organization, made up of Valley parents. Together, we are the fundraising arm of our children’s school — raising money to bridge the gap between what school districts can provide and what our students need to have the best, most well-rounded education possible.

ENHANCING EDUCATION

Current focus – All Things STEAM

Providing and maintaining resources to support school-wide subscriptions to RazKids, BrainPop and Seesaw+, Reflex & Frax, Vocab Class, SafeShare, purchasing technology equipment such as computer mice and headphones.
Enrichment Opportunities: Family Science night and the STEAM Fair
Partnering with corporate sponsors to fund the future Innovation Lab at Valley
Partnering with Poway Onstage to bring visual and performing arts to our students

CLASSROOM MINI-GRANTS

Foundation granting wishes

The foundation awards teacher grants three times in the school year. Mini-grants can be used to fund any teacher-led project or tools.

Past examples include: Classroom books, Literacy and SEL curriculum, Mystery science supplies, Math manipulatives, Art supplies, Flexible seating... and more!

WHO WE ARE

We are parents of Valley Elementary students who donate our time to raise money for educational resources in Valley classrooms. We meet once a month and all other support is provided on our own schedule. We are always looking for extra help, specifically with organizing events, making flyers, communicating with parents, writing grants applications, and IT support. We appreciate any help that you can give.
